The IDP Smart 31 Pro bundle brings together a single-sided Smart 31S printer, EasyBadge Professional software and starter consumables. It suits staff photo ID, visitor passes and membership cards with the required information on the front.

The ribbon capacity is greater than the number of supplied cards. Add suitable stock if you want to use the remaining capacity. Actual use depends on the design, settings and sample prints.

Start with a clear card template

First, prepare a layout with readable names, a photograph and your organisation's branding. Then import or enter the card data in the software and approve a sample. The printer's automatic 80-card input hopper reduces manual loading during a batch.

The Smart 31S prints colour at 300 dpi and has USB connectivity. Its YMCKO mode is rated at up to 180 cards per hour. Computer processing, optional encoding and handling affect completed-job output.

Does “Pro” mean a different printer model?

This package contains the Smart 31S and EasyBadge Professional software. Assess the listed printer and software together when comparing bundles. The supplied print function is single-sided.

Can the bundled software run on a Mac?

EasyBadge Professional is a Windows desktop application. Check the publisher's current requirements for your computer. Separate printer-driver availability does not make that software edition Mac-compatible.

Can this bundle encode MIFARE cards?

EasyBadge's published edition table reserves its listed contactless encoding functions for the Smart and Bureau editions. Professional supports magnetic encoding with suitable hardware. Ask ACB to check the complete card, encoder and software specification if contactless encoding is required.

Which supplies should I buy next?

Use the 659366 YMCKO colour ribbon for the listed colour workflow, approved blank white PVC cards in the supported thickness, and IDP 659909 cleaning cards for maintenance. Choose a black monochrome ribbon when the artwork needs only black text or graphics.

What if the card needs information on the reverse?
