Buying guide: FARGO DTC1250e Printer Ribbons

Compare the listed FARGO DTC1250e 45000 YMCKO colour and 45101 premium black supplies. The colour offer uses an earlier 250-image reference, so check the actual cartridge label when replacing a current supply.

Distinguish the legacy colour offer

The 45000 listing reflects the earlier 045000 YMCKO reference, rated at 250 images. Current HID DTC1250e documentation lists different colour references and capacities. Confirm the existing roll code and supplied cartridge before ordering a replacement.

Choose black for suitable artwork

HID lists 045101 premium resin black at 1,000 images for DTC1250e. The ACB offer uses 45101. Choose it for an appropriate single-colour design and match the complete supplied reference; it is not a full-colour photo ribbon.

Complete the matched supply setup

Check the card material, print mode and any included cleaning items against the exact offer. Add the appropriate cleaning kit and suitable blank cards separately where needed. Keep the confirmed cartridge code so repeat orders use the same verified supply.
