CHOOSING YOUR PRODUCTS
Buying guide: Matica Printer Ribbons
Browse the listed Matica MC colour ribbons and XID ribbon-and-film sets. Match the exact printer generation, ribbon line and component references before ordering, especially where a legacy or conflicting reference needs confirmation.
Separate MC ribbons from XID sets
The catalogue includes MC colour-ribbon offers and XID retransfer sets identified as BN216+319 and BN816+819. These are different supply workflows. For a retransfer set, check the colour-ribbon and clear-film labels separately against your exact printer.
Check Diamond, Platinum and legacy codes
Match the full reference and ribbon line rather than choosing on YMCKO or YMCKO-K alone. Some existing offers require reference confirmation. Send ACB the current roll labels so the supplied code and appropriate printer generation can be checked before purchase.
Compare set contents and rated output
Confirm whether you are buying a single ribbon or both ribbon and film. Check each component's rating and your intended print mode; a 1,000-print supply label is not a promise of 1,000 completed double-sided cards. Use card stock approved for the matched system.
