The EasyBadge Professional to Smart upgrade is a digital licence upgrade for an existing licensed copy of EasyBadge Professional. It moves that installation to the Smart edition. Confirm the licence route, Windows setup and supported printer/encoder combination before ordering.

What Smart adds

The Smart edition enables contactless encoding for supported printer, encoder and card-format combinations. The manufacturer's table includes MIFARE formats, DESFire in compatibility mode and NTAG NDEF. Check the exact hardware and card format in the encoding matrix before ordering.

Platform and feature limits

The desktop application is for Windows and is not macOS compatible. Smart includes unlimited databases, but individual hardware and mobile-app functions have their own limits. The published technical table does not support DESFire EV2 key diversification.

Do I need an existing licence?

Yes. This route requires an existing EasyBadge Professional licence. Check the current edition and licence details before ordering. If you need a new installation licence or are upgrading from another edition, ask ACB to identify the appropriate product.

Does the upgrade include an encoder or printer?

The offer is a software licence upgrade. A compatible printer, contactless encoder and suitable cards are separate requirements for encoding. Match all three to the manufacturer’s technical matrix for the card format you intend to use.

Which computer platform should I prepare?

EasyBadge desktop software is for Windows and is not macOS compatible. Check the current system requirements and the existing installation before arranging the upgrade. Retain the licence details and agreed activation route with your organisation’s software records.
