About this product

Zebra ZC300 dual-sided ID card printer with Ethernet

The Zebra ZC300 dual-sided ID card printer prints the front and reverse automatically, helping you issue staff, student and membership cards with information on both faces. This USB and Ethernet model combines 300 dpi direct-to-card output with a graphical colour LCD for operating prompts and printer status.

Dual-sided ZC300: automatic front-and-reverse card printing.

Put the right information on each face

Keep the photograph, name and organisation prominent on the front, then use the reverse for return instructions, terms or additional details. Automatic duplex printing keeps both designs within one print job and reduces manual handling when issuing a batch.

The input and output hoppers each hold 100 standard 0.76 mm cards. Zebra rates USB batch output at up to 140 cards per hour in YMCKOK duplex mode or 450 per hour in duplex monochrome mode. The often-quoted 200 colour cards per hour is the single-sided YMCKO rating. Actual job output varies with the computer, artwork, encoding and chosen settings.

Zebra ZC300 dual-sided ribbon and layout choices

YMCKOK is a useful option when you need colour on the front and black resin printing on the reverse. If you need colour on both faces, confirm the appropriate supported ribbon and driver mode; consumption per finished card will differ from a one-face colour job. Prepare a sample of each face before printing the full batch.

For card stock, start with premium blank white PVC cards and confirm the selected size and thickness. Choose genuine, model-compatible supplies from our Zebra printer ribbons range. The Zebra ZC100/300 cleaning-card pack supports routine maintenance following the manufacturer instructions.

Zebra ZC300 dual-sided printing questions

Does this listing include automatic reverse printing?

Yes. This is the dual-sided configuration. If your design only needs one printed face, compare the single-sided ZC300 with Ethernet to avoid buying a printing function you do not need.

Can several workstations use the printer?

This configuration provides USB 2.0 and 10/100 Ethernet. Your IT team can plan a suitable network installation and user permissions. Confirm current driver support and the design-software licence for each intended workstation; Ethernet connectivity alone does not supply a multi-user software licence.

Can it create access-control cards?

It can print artwork on approved card stock, but the card technology must match your access system. Magnetic-stripe, contact and contactless encoding depend on the fitted hardware and software. The Print Touch NFC help tag links to printer assistance and does not establish that an RFID encoder is fitted.

Are cards, ribbon and design software included?

Confirm the supplied items with ACB when choosing your setup. Plan for compatible blank cards, the correct ribbon, a supported computer and design software. No particular free software licence or starter consumable pack is promised by this listing.

How should I prepare a reliable printing job?

Check both templates, portrait quality, small text and the intended barcode reader before releasing a batch. Use approved CR80 PVC or PVC-composite stock, and check any special-media restrictions. Follow Zebra's cleaning routine and keep replacement ribbon and cleaning cards available.

If you prefer finished cards without running a printer, compare our photo ID card printing service. Technical reference: Zebra ZC300 manufacturer specification sheet.
