Buying guide: MIFARE Cards

MIFARE Cards from the ACB catalogue. Match the exact credential to your existing readers and issuing system. Check the product reference, technology and any required preparation before ordering.

Begin with the system reference

Provide the current card or fob reference and the reader or system specification from your installer. Technology families can contain different memory, security and configuration options. The same brand name or card shape is not enough to establish compatibility.

Confirm issuing and preparation

A card may need encoding, programming or enrolment in your own system. Agree what is supplied with the product and what your administrator or installer must do. Buying or printing a card does not automatically give it access permissions.

Plan printed branding separately

If you want your logo, names or photographs on the credential, discuss the exact stock, artwork and printing route with ACB. Where operation matters, arrange a sample test on your actual equipment before a larger issue.
