MIFARE Classic EV1 4K cards for your setup

Confirm the card technology, identifier format and encoding requirements with your access-control or system provider before ordering. The same radio frequency does not establish that two card types are interchangeable.

NUID means non-unique identifier. NXP states that the identifiers of 4-byte NUID versions are not guaranteed to be unique; check that your system handles this format.

NXP recommends its DESFire or MIFARE Plus families for security-relevant applications. Ask your system provider which credential family your installation requires.

See the NXP MIFARE Classic EV1 4K datasheet, or contact ACB with your reader model and required card specification.

Choose the right Classic memory option

Order MIFARE Classic EV1 4K cards when the existing system specification calls for the 4K format. A larger memory label alone does not establish compatibility. Compare the 1K Classic listing if that is what your installation uses, and keep each stock reference with its approved design and issue instructions.

Check the printed badge as carefully as the electronic specification. A portrait, membership number or barcode must remain clear in the chosen layout. A two-sided portrait holder can display separate credentials when that arrangement suits the organisation; test contactless cards individually as required by the reader.

MIFARE Classic EV1 4K cards: buying questions

What is the difference between a UID and this NUID?

The listed stock uses a 4-byte non-unique identifier. NXP does not guarantee global uniqueness for that format. The system provider should confirm how the installation identifies and enrols cards.

Can I substitute a 4K card for an existing 1K card?

Only where the system provider approves the change. Memory organisation, identifier handling, keys and software expectations all matter alongside the card family.

Can ACB help with the visible badge design?

Yes. Discuss your artwork or finished-card requirement with ACB. The print design and electronic enrolment are separate parts of producing an issued credential; confirm both before a larger order.

Choose the required quantity and check the selected option before adding it to your basket. For help with the card specification, artwork or a matching accessory, contact ACB.
