ACT access cards

Send the existing card label and reader details so the technology can be checked before artwork or electronic personalisation is arranged.

ACT access cards

Match the ACT credential

ACT MIFARE credentials and ACT magnetic-stripe credentials use different technologies. The earlier “Mifare Card-B” name is insufficient to establish which card is being supplied.

Give ACB the reader or controller model and the label from an existing working credential. Confirm the manufacturer reference, technology and any required enrolment or encoding before purchase.

ACT access cards for your setup

Printed artwork is separate from access-system enrolment. Confirm card construction and printer approval, then follow the system provider’s card-issue process.

Prepare the information needed to identify the card

Enquire about ACT access cards with the system or reader model, a current working credential reference and the number of cards needed. Explain whether the job is a repeat order or a new issue. Keep the written confirmation with the order so the supplier and installer are working to the same specification.

Compare like-for-like credentials rather than assuming every product carrying the ACT name is interchangeable. Once the supplied card is confirmed, agree the visible design and authorised issue procedure. Our photo ID card printing service can be discussed for the visual badge requirement; the electronic credential must still match the installed system.

ACT access cards: buying questions

Why does this listing ask for reference confirmation?

The earlier Card-B wording and internal stock code are insufficient to establish the exact technology being supplied. Confirmation helps avoid ordering a card that looks similar but uses a different interface.

Should I assume that it includes both RFID and a stripe?

Confirm the manufacturer reference and physical card specification first. Different ACT credential products can use different technologies; the internal listing reference alone does not establish a combination card.

What happens after the reference is confirmed?

Agree quantity, any printing and the required encoding or enrolment workflow. Follow the system provider's authorised process for issuing the confirmed credential to each user.

Check the selected quantity and specification before adding this product to your basket. For help matching a card, reader or wearing accessory to your requirements, contact ACB.
