Choose the correct ribbon
This ribbon prints in gold rather than full colour. Match the card background and print method to the design; approve a sample where contrast or machine reading matters.
Printer/reference check: Check the exact Magicard model and approved MA reference. A similar-looking cartridge or a related model name does not establish that two references are interchangeable.
Plan the output
Treat 1,000 as a nominal image or panel-set rating. Finished-card output depends on layout, print mode and the faces printed. Check the supplied ribbon label and required driver settings.
Follow the printer’s cleaning and loading instructions. Confirm any separately required cards, cleaning supplies, software or retransfer film with ACB.

Choose a card colour with contrast
White resin needs a contrasting surface so the design remains visible. Black cards are also worth comparing for metallic gold and silver artwork. Match the approved card finish and printer settings, and test the result before a production run.
Printing and access control are separate. Printing the card face does not encode, enrol or activate the chip. DESFire and Classic cards are different technologies; match the system specification, keys and application setup. Classic EV1 is a replacement option for existing compatible systems, rather than a default choice for a new installation.
