Fargo 45101 Premium Black Ribbon (1000 Prints)

Fargo 45101 premium black ribbon: choosing the right supply

The Fargo 45101 black ribbon is a premium monochrome supply for printing black details onto compatible plastic cards. HID identifies reference 045101 as a premium black resin cartridge in its DTC4000 supply range, rated for 1,000 images. Check the exact printer and cartridge reference before choosing it for an existing Fargo setup.

Black personalisation for everyday card work

Consider a black ribbon when the card needs names, numbers, simple graphics or a barcode rather than a full-colour photograph. This can be useful with preprinted company or membership artwork. Check that the print surface, contrast and barcode layout suit the way the finished card will be used.

Fargo 45101 premium black ribbon compatibility

Use 45101, also written 045101 by HID, as the reference for this listing. Fargo has several black ribbons with different cartridge formats and rated yields. A shared brand name, a similar black-ribbon description or a generic DTC label does not make every supply interchangeable. Send ACB the printer model and old box label if you need a replacement check.

Fargo 45101 premium black ribbon capacity

The nominal rating helps you plan a run, but practical consumption depends on the design, settings and number of faces printed. Leave room for test cards when placing a supply order. Test barcode readability with the actual reader before printing a full production batch.

Add the cards and care supplies you need

Use compatible blank white PVC cards for black-on-white badges, or confirm the surface of any preprinted stock before ordering. Choose cleaning supplies against the exact Fargo model. Our Fargo ribbons include other printing formats if your artwork needs colour or an overlay; contact ACB for help choosing the correct reference.
