Custom plastic key tags for loyalty, membership and identification programmes. Choose the practical 3-up breakaway format, add barcodes, QR codes or numbering, and give customers a compact card that stays on their keys.
The 3-up breakaway format
The popular 3-up format is produced as one bank-card-sized piece that separates into three compact key tags. Each section includes a punched hole for a split ring and can carry the same customer record or individual codes, depending on the scheme.
At approximately 28 × 54mm per tag, the format gives enough room for clear branding and a carefully prepared barcode or QR code without becoming awkward on a keyring.
Choose the right format
Start with the customer journey, the scanner and the information the tag needs to carry. We will help shape the format around those practical requirements.

Discuss 3-up tags ↗Keep branding and customer identifiers consistent across full-size loyalty or membership cards and compact key tags.
Explore loyalty cards ↗If the standard 3-up format does not suit the project, ask about single tags, different sizes or specialist printed formats.

Barcodes and QR codes need enough size, contrast and clear space around them. Tell us what your till, check-in or membership system reads so the design can be prepared around the actual scanning workflow.
Use a supported barcode type with suitable width, contrast and placement.

Use a printed barcode, QR code or member number for compatible reception and attendance systems.
Provide members with a compact alternative or companion to a full-size membership card.
Connect the tag to appointments, visit rewards or customer records through a compatible code.
Print property, department or asset references for estate agents, accommodation teams and managed key sets.
Support annual passes, membership benefits or account lookup without requiring a wallet-size card.
Material choices
Key tags spend their life beside keys, coins and other hard objects. We can compare standard PVC, recycled PVC and other suitable materials against durability, print finish and the expected life of the programme.
