MIFARE Classic EV1 1K cards with Hi-Co magnetic stripe
This pack of 100 combines the listed NXP MIFARE Classic EV1 1K contactless chip with a 2750 Oe high-coercivity magnetic stripe. The two technologies store data separately: the contactless chip needs a compatible RFID reader or encoder, while the stripe needs suitable magnetic encoding equipment.
Match the card to your existing system
MIFARE Classic EV1 operates at 13.56 MHz using ISO/IEC 14443 Type A and a sector-based 1 kB EEPROM. Some memory is reserved for identifiers, access conditions and keys, so nominal memory is not all available for application data. Sharing a frequency with another card does not make the technologies interchangeable.
Check identifiers and personalisation
The existing ACB specification lists a 4-byte NUID. NXP defines this format as non-unique; it should not be described as a globally unique identifier. Confirm the identifier format your system expects, together with its sector keys and enrolment process, before ordering. A blank card does not arrive configured for your building, membership scheme or payment application.
