Hearing Support Card - Please Face Me When Speaking

This hearing support communication card displays "Please face me when speaking" in large dark lettering. An original speech-bubble symbol and a blue-violet header identify the message, while the front also notes that the holder may need a little more time. It is a stock preference card to show when its requests suit you.

The reverse asks the reader to help the holder follow the conversation. Its three prompts are to face the person and speak clearly, avoid shouting and offer to write things down. Read the front and reverse carefully: communication preferences differ, and this design should reflect what you actually want to ask for.

What is included?

You receive one double-sided plastic card, approximately 86 x 54mm, in the stock design shown. It has no name, photograph, diagnosis, registration number, hearing-device details or emergency contact. A card holder, lanyard and clip are not included.

Choosing and using the card

Keep the card within reach in a wallet or suitable holder and choose when to display it. You can use the printed message alongside speech, writing or another communication method. Showing a card does not require the holder to explain more personal information than they wish to share.
